Adios..2006

The past year has been good but I am hoping this year will be better!

My wishes: traveling to ASIA visit mom dad cousins, work harder, getting a better salary, save more, keeping in touch with  old friends from all over the world, getting involved more with communities...

Ben's wishes for Olga: stop rushing him meaning stop saying the following ( Keep up the pace Ben ! Hurry up!! Are you ready?? - at this point I usually by the main door)

Olga's wishes for Ben: Cleaning the Bathrooms-windex the glasses, scrubbing the toilet bowl, Washing dishes, Cooking dinner for me, Vacuuming more often, Picking Mail up, Making the bed daily - are must do chores.. haha

Alright Happy New Year and  I am going to put up my delicious chicken baked with rice and vegetables. Good Night!

Chicken baked rice:

  • 3 can of Campbell soups
  • Left over rice - 1 Cup
  • 10 drumsticks
  • Sliced Garlic,Broccoli, Onion, Garlic, Sliced Carrots

Steps:

Preheat the oven to375F- Lay chickens in pyrex and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake until the skin is crispy and golden brown. In the mean time, heat up wok with little vegetable oils, stir fry garlic add carrots. Cook halfway add Broccoli and onion.Add campbell soups stir until there's no lump and rice . Add to the Chicken - Bake for 15 min 425F.

I promise this meal is very affordable and make the whole "hood" happY!

Finally

After a very tense week, I finally got a good rest sleep last night. Yesterday,  I went to final interview with the Senior Manager. It went very well. I found out that he was an engineer, too before he join the company - very good  bonding to start with.

Six hours later,.. HR call back and made and offer, then I was in dilema for a bit,.. taking this job means opening a door for to further my career.

So I will start working this Monday 11/13/06!

I am so excited!! With 25 days paid holiday, 8 national holiday, and 1 float day! Whohaaaaa!:) Thanks Ben for being my #1 support!

I am veryy verry berry berry happy!!!

Anxiety!

One of my good friend referred me to work at her company. I've been waiting to get call for a month. Finally, the recruiter contacted me this past Friday - to set up the interview dates. I was so excited!

There are two more interviews to go. It supposed to be today and tomorrow. I constantly check my email!- I feel like those people that addicted to their BlackBerry.

I think they are testing my patient! By the end of this week I probably have curly  frizzy hair!
